Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This Project Consists of the Contractor Furnishing All of the Tools, Labor, Equipment, and Materials Necessary to Remove 1200 Lf of Curb & Gutter and 200 Sy of Concrete, and Install 70 Water Service Lines, 3 Hydrants, 25 Lf of 4" Water Main Line, 70 Lf of 8" Water Main Line, 5-8" Gate Valves, 1200 Lf of Curb & Gutter, 200 Sy of Concrete, 200 Lf of Surface Restoration (Landscaping), 250 Lf of Type "p" Surface Restoration, and Any Additional Items Specifically Defined in the Bid Documents. Bids Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security in the Form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash in the Amount of 5% of the Amount of the Bid Proposal. Said Bid Security Shall Be Forfeited to the City of Idaho Falls as Liquidated Damages Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into a Contract in Accordance With Their Proposal as Specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Idaho Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Idaho Falls. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
