As of May 3,2024, project was awarded to Big Horn Fabrication, awarded amount is $43,750.62. The Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Section, on behalf of the Wyoming Game & Fish Department (Procuring Agency) will receive bids for the construction and delivery of 500 steel jack fence uprights, Pinedale, Wyoming. Bidding questions shall be submitted online website by 1:00 p.m. MT on March 26, 2024. All questions will be answered and provided to all prospective bidders via answers online website or in the form of a written addendum posted online by 1:00 p.m. MT on April 3, 2024. Questions received after 1:00 p.m. on March 26, 2024, will not be addressed. Telephone calls, emails, or faxes may not be accepted. The Contractor shall be responsible for the construction of a 500 steel jack fence in accordance with the specifications listed below. 1. The Contractor shall construct five hundred (500) steel jack fence uprights from 2 3/8" drill stem pipe provided by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. 2. Each upright will consist of one vertical piece of 2 3/8" drill stem pipe cut at 59 inches and two legs cut at 42 inches of 2 3/8" drill stem pipe. The legs shall be welded to the vertical piece at a 120 degree angle as shown in image 1. 3. Each upright will have eight (8), four (4) on each side, eight-inch (8") long by one and three eights inch (1 3/8") by one eighth inch (1/8") thick wall pipe provided by the Contractor, welded perpendicular to the vertical piece of the upright and parallel to the ground at 21 inches, 39 inches, 57 inches and 75 inches from the ground as shown in images 2 and 3. 4. The Contractor shall construct thirty-two (32) corners consisting of two pieces bolted together with a one and a quarter inch (1 1/4 ") seven sixteenths inch (7/16") bolt and nut provided by the Contractor. Each corner will consist of one (1) eight inch (8") long piece of 2 3/8" drill stem pipe welded to a five and a half inch (5 1/2") by three and a half inch (3 1/2 ") by one quarter inch (1/4") flat piece of steel provided by the Contractor, and one (1) eight inch (8") long piece of one and three eights inch (1 3/8") by one eighth inch (1/8") thick wall pipe provided by the Contractor welded to a five and a half inch (5 1/2 ") by two inch (2") by one quarter inch (1/4") flat piece of steel provided by the Contractor as shown in image 4. 5. Pictures and diagrams are attached to this bid in Attachment A. 6. The Contractor shall be responsible for picking up the drill stem pipe - two hundred (200) pieces of two and three eighths inch (2 3/8") by approximately thirty-two feet (32') located at the Boulder Rearing Station fifteen (15) miles south of Pinedale on Highway 191, then one and a half (1.5) miles east on the Boulder Rearing Station Road. 7. The Contractor shall be responsible for delivering five hundred (500) completed steel jack fence uprights and thirty-two (32) corner pieces to the Soda Lake Wildlife Habitat Management Area (WHMA) storage yard located approximately seven (7) miles north of Pinedale on the Willow Lake Road, on or after May 1, 2024 but no later than September 30, 2024. All questions shall be submitted no later than Tuesday, March 26, 2024 by 1:00 p.m. on the Public Purchase online bidding system. All questions will be answered by the agency by 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
