Sealed bids will be received by Mehlville Fire Protection District for Renovation of Fire Station #5 and Administration Headquarters 11020 Mueller Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123 Bidders must provide two copies of the bid response. The envelope containing the bids must be sealed and bear the name of the project, the bidder, and the date and time of the bid opening. The Mehlville Fire Protection District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities therein and to accept the bid most advantageous to Mehlville Fire Protection District. In addition to being required to comply in all respects with the most current state statutory provisions concerning the payment of prevailing wages, Missouri Division of Labor Standards, Annual Wage Order Number 29, in accordance with chapter 290 in RSMO, and shall pay all workers performing work under the contract, not less than the prevailing hourly wage is as determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri, the successful bidder, and all subcontractors shall be required to participate in an apprentice training programs approved by the United States Department of Labor. In addition, the successful bidder, and subcontractors, shall recognize and assign work to crafts based upon historical craft jurisdiction. Mehlville Fire Protection District hereby notifies all bidders that each will be afforded a full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin. The prevailing wage provision and those other provisions contained herein apply to all work performed on site. Project Scope of Work for this Proposed Contract consists of the Renovation of an existing Fire Protection District Station, with Work including, but not limited to, General Construction, Structural, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilating+Air Conditioning, Electrical, Communications, Electronic Safety+Security, Earthwork, Exterior Improvements and Utilities, as delineated within the Drawings and Specifications.
