A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The County of Santa Clara ("County" or "Owner") invites qualified public works contractors to provide a price quote for cement pad and handrail at the Metcalf Motorcycle County Park. Santa Clara County Parks is looking to add a cement pad and handrail at the Motorcycle Park Shop. This work will need to be ADA compliant. Successful bidder will add about 20 feet of railing on the East side of the walkway pad. The concrete pad dimensions are 16'x20'. Total square footage would be approximately 320 square foot. The handrail circled in blue in attached photo will need to be removed so you can walk through and have the holes filled in as well with cement. Complete project work within 15 days of receiving a Notice to Proceed by County Project Manager. Bidders acknowledge the delays, expense, and difficulty in proving Owner's losses, and accordingly, instead of requiring such proof, the successful bidder will be required to agree to an assessment of liquidated damages in the amount of $250 for each calendar day the work remains incomplete beyond the completion date.
