The School District reserves the right to make an award as a whole, in part, or reject any or all bids that i t considers not to be in its best interest. Interested vendors may obtain a bid packet from the Purchasing Office of the Great Neck Union Free School District. Call (516) 441-4070 or email jmartin@greatneck.k12.ny.us to request the packet by mail or email. Please read the bid packet carefully before submitting your bid. Incomplete bids may not be considered. A. The School District proposes to award to a responsible contractor, submitting the lowest bid, and meeting the specifications for materials and labor for Garbage and Refuse Removal throughout the School District. B. The contractor shall maintain a service log for the duration of the contract and shall provide this log upon request from the School District. C. The School District requires that all personnel performing the work specified in this bid will have and maintain proper certification(s). The School District may request proof of these certifications at any time during the contract. D. The successful bidder shall be licensed in Nassau County to perform the work of the Contract.
