The purpose of this bid is to secure the services of an electrical Contractor to perform miscellaneous skilled electrical maintenance, repairs, replacements & support for Pierce County Facilities Management. The Contractor will work at various Pierce County Facilities or leased spaces located in Pierce County (including the Pierce County Jail), on as-needed basis. The successful Contractor must be a State of Washington Licensed Commercial Electrical Contractor for a minimum of three (3) years. Contractors submitting a bid for this work must have a valid Electrical Contractor License at the time of the bid due date. Work shall be performed in accordance with recognized sound safety standards and any equipment, supplies and products shall be used in accordance with the manufacturer's technical specifications. Question Deadline 04/17/2024 at 1:00 PM PT The Initial Contract Period of Performance will be One (1) Year, commencing from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with the option to renew for an additional year. Total contract time is Not to Exceed Two (2) Years. Initial Contract Value of Not to Exceed $500,000 A Bid Bond is required for this solicitation. Successful low bidder may be required to provide references that demonstrate the ability to serve Pierce County prior to award. Failure to provide references when requested or references not demonstrating the ability to service the needs of Pierce County may result in your bid being deemed non-responsible. Successful bidder must provide a Contract Bond for $500,000.00. 5% Retainage will be held for the full contract period. Contractor is responsible for all Taxes, Fees, Insurance, and Bonding costs for this Project. All costs, except sales tax, must be included in the unit bid prices. The right is reserved by the County to waive informalities in the bidding, accept a proposal of the lowest responsible bidder, reject any or all bids, republish the invitation for bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of the County is served
