The work is generally described as removal and pruning of trees along the public ways and the public properties of the Town of Ayer. Work must be substantially complete by June 30th, 2024.. A 50% payment bond is required upon award if the contract value is greater than $25,000 General liability coverage shall be in the amount of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for bodily injury liability and $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for property damage liability. Motor vehicle coverage shall include coverage for owned, hired and non-owned vehicles and shall be in the amount of $1,000,000 combined single limit with a $1,000,000 umbrella. All inquiries concerning any part of this RFQ shall be directed to the Ayer DPW Director, via email (dvanschalkwyk@ayer.ma.us). Bidders should note that oral communications are not binding on the Town and only written responses by the Town will be considered. Questions are to be clearly labeled as: QUESTIONS - (Tree Maintenance - 24DPW13) The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes as determined to be in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities.
