As of June 19, 2024 project was awarded to NLS Paving, Inc., awarded amount is $403,361.85. 2024 Johnson Road Roadway Improvements All work will include, but not be limited to the following: removal of existing asphalt concrete by milling where indicated, full depth pavement repair using hot-mix asphalt concrete where indicated, cleaning, tacking and paving streets with asphalt concrete, as per specifications. Adjusting to grade valve boxes, manholes, and catch basin. The following streets are included in the contract: BASE BID: JOHNSON ROAD from Sunset Blvd to St. Charles Drive, Including Garfield Ave from Johnson Rd to Portland Blvd ADD ALTERNATE No. 1: ST. CHARLES DRIVE from Johnson Road to Lauretta Drive. The Bid must be accompanied by the Bid Guaranty. At the option of the Bidder, the guaranty may be a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code which is included, or a bid bond on the included form in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Bid. Cash deposits will not be accepted. The Bid guaranty shall insure the execution of the Agreement and the furnishings of the Surety bond or bonds by the successful Bidder, all as required by the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds. The Bidder shall be ODOT Pre-qualified for types of work he is performing with his own forces (not subcontracting) for items that total a minimum of 30% of the awarded contract amount. The Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, time of award and through the life of the contract. The Engineer's estimated cost for the Base Bid Total is $425,102.00 Due to funding agency requirements the City will not be able to enter into a contract until after July 1, 2024. The scope of work for the light commercial agreement shall apply to the following small medical clinics, stand-alone doctor and dentist offices with up to 600 amp service (not attached to a hospital), gas stations/convenience stores, fast food restaurants and franchised chain restaurants including independent bars and taverns, places of worship, funeral homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and day-care facilities under 15,000 sq ft, small office, retail/wholesale facilities under 15,000 sq ft with less than 10 units attached, storage units, car washes, express hotels and motels (4 stories or less) without conference or restaurants facilities, residential units (subject to Davis Bacon Rates) small stand-alone manufacturing facilities when free standing and not part of a larger facility (less than 15,000 sq ft) solar projects (500 panels or less) unless other wise covered under this agreement, lighting retrofits (when not associated with remodels involving branch re-circuiting) Lighting retrofits shall be defined as the changing of lamps and ballasts in existing light fixtures and shall also include the one for one replacement of existing fixtures. Scope of Work: installation and maintenance of highway and street lighting, highway and street sign lighting, electronic message boards and traffic control systems, camera systems, traffic signal work, substation and line construction including overhead and underground projects for private and industrial work as in accordance with the IBEW Constitution. This Agreement includes the operation of all tools and equipment necessary for the installation of the above projects
