The City of Indio is seeking a qualified consultant to perform as-needed professional engineering services for Civil Design to augment its in-house resources to deliver necessary road improvements identified in the Capital Improvement Program. Duties will include the preparation of roadway and highway engineering plans, traffic design, and specifications and estimates. The assignment entails rapid and thorough completion of various tasks. The consultant serves as a reference and resource pertaining to questions regarding civil engineering principles, polices, and practices. The anticipated length of the contract is three years plus two optional one-year renewals for a possible length up to five years.
