Site work and paving for a road / highway in Oil City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The following estimated bid quantities apply: 18,716sy milling; 2,130 tons 19mm Binder Course, 1,085 tons 9.5mm Fine-Graded Wearing Course, and 10 ADA Ramps (Design/Build) Special. A certified check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to 10% of the bid, payable to the City of Oil City, shall be submitted with the bid. A non-collusion affidavit is necessary. After contract award, 100% performance and payment bonds will be required. This project is funded through Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and State Liquid Fuels monies. The City of Oil City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the bid as is most advantageous to the city. No bidder will be subjected to discrimination in consideration for an award. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and bidders.
