The purpose of the proposal is to obtain bids for site cleanup services in support of a nuisance abatement at 402 West Locust Street, Woodstock, Virginia. The Town's Point of Contact for this project is: Jill Jefferson Town of Woodstock 135 N. Main Street Woodstock, VA 22664 Ph: (540) 459-3621 jjefferson@woodstockva.gov The Town intends to abate all remnants of structural and personal debris (excluding the concrete foundation and retaining walls), located at 402 West Locust Street, following a fire at the site. The property will be cleared in two phases. The scope of work in this invitation to bid is for Phase 1, which includes removal of all personal and building debris and demolition of the remaining metal structure, depicted in Appendix A, Pictures A and B. Following Phase 1 and the removal of all debris and the metal building, the Town will assess the remaining concrete foundation and retaining walls to determine what, if any, future actions are necessary. Upon successful completion of Phase 1, the selected contractor will have the first right to provide a quote on Phase 2, which will include site stabilization. The Town does not accept bids delivered via USPS, FEDEX or UPS on weekends, holidays or outside normal business hours of 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. EST. The Town will not accept any bid, bid withdrawal, or bid modification by email or facsimile.
