SCOPE OF WORK: Statement of Work The Contractor will conduct excavation and installation of a new junction chamber, as well as Installation of a crossconnection between the new and existing junction chambers, to manage excess storm water for the OPWDD Taconic DDSOO campus located at 26 Center Circle, Wassaic, New York 12592. Summary Groundwater has been infiltrating the sanitary sewer lines on the south end of the OPWDD Taconic Campus through leaks within the underground pipe. Additional storm water has been entering the floor drains in the now dilapidated structures. All south campus buildings serving the sanitary lines are permanently unoccupied, and any flow in the sanitary line is considered groundwater inflow and infiltration (I&I). Because the flow in these lines is clean water, OPWDD would like to reroute this flow to our stormwater outfall. OPWDD's Contract Management Unit for Taconic DDSOO is soliciting quotes from responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB, or NYS Small Business contractors to conduct excavation and installation of a new junction chamber, as well as Installation of a cross-connection between the new and existing junction chambers, to manage excess storm water for the OPWDD Taconic DDSOO campus in Wassaic, NY. Pursuant to its discretionary authority under Articles 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law and State Finance Law section 160(8) - Empire State Development Corporation certified Minority or Woman Owned Business (MWBE), New York State Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), or New York State Small Businesses only. Please provide a copy of your firm's certification documents when submitting a quote. The contractor or its principals must be able to provide references that verify they have 3 years of relevant experience to complete the work as listed in the Scope of Work.
