As of January 28, 2025, an engineer was recently selected and design has not begun yet. It is anticipated construction will start in 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The scope of work consists of, but not limited to, providing all equipment, labor, materials, supplies, licensing, transportation, and other components necessary to provide professional design services for Trailer Estates gravity sewer replacement and roadway project. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE MANATEE COUNTY STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids/proposals, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission. Also, the County reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid/proposal and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
