Question Submission Deadline: April 3, 2024, 12:00am Question Response Deadline: April 5, 2024, 5:00pm, A Proposer may submit Questions related to this RFP to the City through online. The initial term of the Contract will be three (3) years . The selected contractor shall serve as the City's representative when designated. Liz Hughes Recreation Supervisor shall oversee and facilitate the activities of the contractor as needed. The selected contractor shall provide professional services and expertise related to providing the Recreation Center with Chemicals to maintain sanitary conditions in the three (3) pools and shall remain in compliance with all state and local codes and applicable regulations. Services Contractor shall, for the term of this Agreement, perform chemical delivery services for one aquatic complex and maintain appropriate chemical levels so that the tanks listed below do not run empty. On this complex are two (2) 500-gallon Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% tanks in separate rooms and one (1) 400-gallon tank for Muriatic Acid 15% in a third and separate room. Please see Cost Proposal for additional Chemicals/Materials Quality of Service Contractor shall provide services in a professional manner and comparable to other professional service provider during the entirety of this Agreement. Contractor and its officials are requested to be fully knowledgeable of all rules and regulations associated with the delivery and handling of any and all hazardous materials listed on the Bid Sheet Exhibit B. Deliveries shall be made to 2801 Jefferson Blvd. West Sacramento CA, 95691. Contractor will be provided a key to the chemical storage facility. The contractor is responsible for maintain control of the chemical storage key and is responsible for securing the facility during and after all deliveries are made. In the event that a key is lost, contractor will be responsible for any and all cost associated with re-securing the facility. All Deliveries should be made between the hours of 6am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. If a delivery date falls on a state or federal holiday that the contractor observes, deliveries should be rescheduled after the holiday, with in one to two business days. Background West Sacramento is a vibrant riverfront community centrally located in Northern California.
