Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, transportation, and incidentals necessary for restoration of approximately 257-linear feet of intermittent stream channel located in the Beechwood Farms subdivision in Hanover County Virginia. The goal of the project is to use natural restoration techniques to provide stability and minimize sediment and nutrient contributions to the Chesapeake Bay. Restoration will include the construction of a floodplain bench and series of cascades and pools which will be stabilized with stone. Imbricated rip rap will be used to stabilize the upper end of the cascades. To receive consideration, all questions should be received by the Purchasing Officer prior to 12:00 P.M., APRIL 15, 2024. Any changes made to the written requirements of the Bid Documents or Contract Documents shall be made by written Addendum only. A Bid Security of 5% shall be required of Bids $100,000 and greater. A Performance and Payment Bond, each equaling 100% of the contract amount shall be required of a CONTRACT that is $100,000 and greater.
