**As of May 14,2024 project was awarded to BKJ Land Co II DBA BKJ Excavating, awarded amount is $23,488.75.** This work also consists of furnishing and installing Truncated Dome Systems (detectable warning surfaces) at pedestrian curb ramps in compliance with the Public Rights-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG). Truncated domes shall provide a visual contrast to the concrete ramp of either dark on light or light on dark. This work shall be performed in accordance with the applicable MnDOT Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, and the details in the Plan Approximate Major Quantities Include: Full Depth Trail Reclamation 830 S.Y. Bituminons Trail 1,690 S.Y. Bituminons Pavement 170 TON Concrete Walk 2,104 S.F. Excavation - Common 830 C.Y. Aggregate Base 850 TON Chainlink Fencing (4' & 8') 680 L.F. The provisions of Minnesota Statute 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this Contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to this Invitation for Bids shall comply with the provisions of the statute. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cash deposit, certified bank letter of credit or certified check made payable to the City of Shakopee, Minnesota, in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract within the time specified and at the price bid.
