A Job Order Contract ("JOC") is an indefinite quantity contract pursuant to which the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission may accomplish a series of projects with a single, competitively bid contract awarded before the projects are identified. Contractors bid an adjustment factor to pre-set unit prices. Work is accomplished by issuing Task Orders to the successful contractor during the two-year term of the contract. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Alameda Counties. The Maximum Contract Amount is $5,000,000.00.The contract will be awarded to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. Failure to comply with Chapter 14B requirements may result in a Bid being deemed non-responsive and ineligible for Contract award. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but not limited, to the following major types of work: Building / Moving / Demolition; Carpentry, Cabinets & Millwork; Concrete; Concrete Related Services; Construction Traffic Control Services; Drywall; Electrical; Elevator Installation & Repair; Fire Protection; Floor Covering; General Building Construction; General Engineering Construction; Glazing; Hazardous Materials Contractors; Hazardous Waste And Remediation Services; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Insulation/Accoustical Contractors; Lathing And Plastering; Painting/Waterproofing; Plumbing; Roofing; Solar Contractors; Tile Installation; Trucking and Hauling; and Welding. The specialized scopes of work with specific and special licensing requirements include installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and energizing or decommissioning of solar panels requiring a C-10 license; roof replacements or repairs requiring a C-39 license; and trained solar technicians with a C-46 license to install, replace, or repair solar panels. AClass "B"California Contractors License is required to bid. In addition to a B-License, the prime bidder must have successfully completed work onthreegeneral building contracts, preferably public works projects, within the pasttenyears, each project with a minimum construction value of $1,000,000. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing.
