Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Mascoutah, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; transportation facility; water / sewer project; and for the construction of a transportation facility.
This item of work shall consist of, but is not limited to, work and operations necessary for the movement of personnel, equipment, material and supplies to and from the project site for work on the project except as provided in the contract as separate pay items. The Engineer's Field Office is also included in this item of work. Job number - 22001186-00 This project includes but is not limited to construction of new Terminal Apron Expansion, drainage improvements, expansion of the existing glycol system, installation of new edge lights and apron lighting and other electrical improvements, apron and roadway markings, seeding/sodding/mulching and other erosion control measures. CONTRACT TIME: The owner has established a contract time of 146 calendar days. All project work shall be substantially completed within the stated timeframe. Liquidity Damages: This project is subject to liquidated damages as prescribed in the project manual. BIDDERS QUALIFICATIONS: Prospective bidders who desire to submit a bid as a prime contractor must be prequalified with the Illinois Department of Transportation. The prime contractor and subcontractors performing work on the following work items shall also be prequalified with the Illinois Department of Transportation: concrete paving, bituminous paving, aggregate base, electrical pay items and bridge construction.
