Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sparks, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Scope of Work: Patch and crack repair asphalt parking lot and play area. Clean asphalt surface and apply Type 2 slurry seal to all asphalt. Restripe all asphalt areas to match existing striping layout. Note: Blue and yellow paint are lead containing. The physical work is to be commenced upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed with a completion date on or before August 1, 2024. Question Deadline 04/22/2024 at 4:30 PM PT Each individual bid shall be accompanied by a surety company issued Bid Bond or by a Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the Washoe County School District, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, said amount to be forfeited to WCSD, should the Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded fail to enter into the Contract in accordance with the Contractors bid and any other contract documents and furnish the required bonds within ten (10) days after the delivery of notice of such award Contractor must agree that Owner may retain from the monies due the Contractor Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) per day (Liquidated Damages) as a direct result of the Contractors delay or for not completing the project in the required time allowance plus approved time extensions.
