The End of Question Period is 5:00 pm, April 8, 2024. This project includes replacement/installation of the washer/dryer units in six WS fire stations. It also includes purchase and installation of new Gear Wash/Extractor units at these locations. Trades include interior renovations, interior concrete work (floor and appliance pads), plumbing, and electrical. The M/WBE subcontracting goals for this project are 10% MBE and 5% WBE and must be met separately. The low bidder who fails to meet said goals must submit Affidavit 'D' and their full Good Faith Effort documentation within 24 hours. Likewise, an Affidavit 'C' is required of the apparent low bidder who meets the M/WBE goals. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The purpose of this conference is to summarize the scope of work involved and to explain the City's Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) goals and program related to this project. Staff will be present to answer questions. Attendance for this meeting will be taken by contractors entering their name, company they are with, and email in the chat.
