Renovation of a municipal facility in Malone, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project is being bid a single prime contract: (1) General Construction The scope of the project includes but is not limited to the removal of an existing entrance steps, and construction of a new entrance steps to include new railings, lighting, and a snow melt system. Replacement of the existing retaining wall caps along with repointing of wall joints will be completed. The repointing will occur for both the retaining walls for the entrance steps and the joints along the front wall face of the entrance step doorways. Work shall include sawcutting, backfill, new concrete pour, new electrical, and masonry repointing. Any bid may be withdrawn without prejudice prior to the official bid opening time or any publicized postponement thereof. A satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder or acceptable Sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest qualified individual or combined bid. The lowest bidders shall complete the attached qualifications form for review by the Owner. The Labor Law requires public work contractors and subcontractors to pay laborers, workers or mechanics employed in the performance of a public work contract not less than the prevailing rate of wage and supplements (fringe benefits) in the locality where the work is performed. The Bidder acknowledges the right of the owner to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received. In addition, the Bidder recognizes the right of the Owner to reject a Bid if the Bidder is unable to provide experience, qualifications, and financial ability to carry out the terms of the project. Submit all questions about the bid documents to Brian Krueger at Aubertine and Currier, 522 Bradley Street, Watertown, New York 13601 by email at bmk@aubertinecurrier.com at least (2) days prior to date for receipt of bids. Replies will be issued to all Plan Holders of Record as Addenda to the Bid Documents and will become a part of the contract. No Bidder shall rely upon any interpretation or correction by any other method.
