This project is a recover project consisting of single-ply roofing. This project also includes tear-off, deck repair/replacement, insulation, rough carpentry, and roof-related sheet metal work. When the unit price-based parts of the project scope of work have been completed, the Owner will deduct unexpended quantity allowances from the contract sum via change order. A. This section is intended to assure adequate planning and execution of the project, to maintain proper facility security and to assist the Owner with eliminating workplace hazards, production disruptions, product damage, and inconvenience. B. The Contractor shall advise all administrative and field personnel, Subcontractors, and material suppliers of the requirements of this section. C. Any delays experienced due to the Contractor's failure to provide proper notifications and coordination shall be at the Contractor's expense. D. If any conflict should arise over a specific provision of this section, the Owner's decision shall be final. E. Coordinate the requirements of this section with related requirements specified elsewhere in the Contract Documents. Immediately inform the Owner's Representative of any conflicts. F. Refer to related information on the drawings. The Work shall conform to the Drawings entitled Blue Valley Recreation Center at Hilltop 2024 Roof Recover Section FF, 7720 W. 143rd Street, Overland Park, KS 66223 dated April 1, 2024 as listed hereafter as part of the Contract Documents, except property survey drawings which are included for Bidder’s information.
