Site work, new construction and renovation of a municipal facility in Melfort, Saskatchewan. Design plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for the construction of a municipal facility.
The projects that the City is considering are listed below: Northern Lights Palace Pool - Chemical Storage Solution ($200,000); Renovation/Retrofit of Northern Lights Palace Arena & Pool (approx. $21 million); Design of New Public Library Building ($6,000,000); and Historic Post Office Roof replacement ($500,000). TIMELINE: Projects are in various stages of planning and design and currently included in the owner's 5-year capital plan. The Historic Post Office Roof replacement project is planned for 2025. Construction of the Northern Lights Palace Pool - Chemical Storage Solution project is planned for 2026. The library and the rehabilitation of the Northern Lights Palace Arena & Pool are not expected to proceed prior to 2028/29.
