Site work for a water / sewer project in Corpus Christi, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a 1,508-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project.

This is a lump sum bid. County will pay by check method. Question Deadline 05/01/2024 Nueces County Purchasing Agent will allow written questions and requests for clarification of this solicitation. Questions must be submitted via online Questions Contact Purchasing Agent at michael.robinson1@nuecescountytx.gov or call 361-888-0426. The Commissioners Court of Nueces County (hereinafter called the "County") will accept sealed competitive bids for: Bob Hall Pier Reconstruction 15820 Park Road 22 S. Padre Island Dr., Corpus Christi, Texas 78418 in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by Jacobs Engineering. The scope of work for the Base Bid consists of the following: The Work (is described in general, non-inclusive terms) consists of Base Bid Work, Additive Alternate #1, and an Allowance for Future Third-Party Concession Building, if selected by the County. The Base Bid Items are described below. Section 01 23 00 covers Alternates and Allowances.1. Pier Reconstruction The contractor is responsible for the full rebuild / reconstruction of Bob Hall Fishing Pier in accordance with plans developed by Jacobs Engineering Group. The work generally includes construction / installation of piles, concrete beams and other structural support members, and decking. Additionally, included are pier lighting, handrails, ADA and vehicle ramps, and a public (open) area / space The contractor is responsible for the construction of a County Concession Building at the new building, including the substructure, building / architecture, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing for the building in accordance with the plans and specifications. 3. Existing Pavilion Rehabilitation The contractor is responsible for the rehabilitation of the existing Pavilion including limited demolition, replacements of fixtures, cleaning, painting, and other repairs, in accordance with the plans and specifications. The contractor is responsible for the construction of the NOAA weather station in accordance with plans developed by Jacobs Engineering Group. The work generally includes construction / installation of a steel pile, concrete deck, handrails and pre-fab ladder with guardrails. 5. Site Utilities The contractor is responsible for the construction or installation of water, sanitary, and site electrical utility services for the new pier, as described in the plans and specifications.
