In accordance with the plans and specifications, this work shall consist of Installing a mini-roundabout with upgraded pedestrian ramps to meet ADA compliance. Project will also include installing the Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) to cross on all four legs of the intersection on Rose Hill Street and Owyhee Street. Roosevelt Street to Vista Avenue to install various traffic calming measures including protected bike lanes with delineators in the buffer, painted bulb-outs, mini median islands at the Eiden Drive Intersection and Ruby Street intersection, and meandering lane striping. The work shall be completed in its entirety on or before October 16, 2024. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about June 7, 2024. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $1,500 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. All questions or clarifications concerning the content and requirements of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) must be posted in the Q&A section of the solicitation located at the eProcurement Portal. All questions or clarifications must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Monday, April 15, 2024. Any interpretation that may alter or change the ITB will be in writing, in the form of Addenda, which will be furnished via the eProcurement Portal. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check for Addenda before submitting bids.
