Nueces River Authority (Buyer) is requesting Bids from contractors to assist with the Annual Arundo Control Project administered by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. The successful bidder will serve as a subcontractor to the Nueces River Authority for this project. NRA implements the Arundo control project in the Upper Nueces River Basin and the San Felipe Creek areas. Subcontractors with the ability and/or unmanned aerial vehicles (aka UAVs or drones) to enhance efforts to manage aquatic and riparian invasive species are encouraged to bid; however, all contractors must have the ability to utilize backpack and ATV spraying as part of the project may have areas of hard-to-reach plants, restricted air space, and temporarily downed equipment which would require the need for backpack and ATV spraying. This purchase is contingent upon the release of funds from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). Any contract awarded under this Invitation for Bids is subject to the Trump Administration Executive Order, DOI Order which prohibits the use of unmanned aerial vehicles manufactured in China, Russia, North Korea and Iran. The Nueces River Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held.
