This notification is provided to inform and advise that any Contractors, whether a General Contractor or Subcontractor, is required to complete the Contractor Qualification program with the LKDSB (Lambton Kent District School Board) for required projects. The Intent is to obtain qualified Contractors to provide services to the LKDSB for future projects that will be tendered. All subcontractors utilized by a General Contractor for LKDSB projects are also required to submit and be deemed qualified by the LKDSB to work on LKDSB property and projects. Upcoming projects that Contractors and Subcontractors will be required to submit to this program include but not limited to: Errol Village Public School Two Classroom and Daycare Addition Rosedale Public School Renovations Brooke Central Public School Roof Replacement Alexander Mackenzie Secondary School Structural Reinforcing and Chiller Replacement Locksmith Services Playground installations The services include but are not limited to: Carpentry services Civil work, including concrete and asphalt work Communications, public address systems, telephony, and network cabling Custodial services Demolition Design services (architectural and engineering) Doors, including man doors, overhead doors and automatic door operators Elevator installation and maintenance services Electrical Environmental abatement services Fencing installation and repairs Flooring General Contracting Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning Insultation Life safety or fire protection systems installation, testing and maintenance Locksmith Masonry Millwork Outdoor maintenance including grass cutting, landscaping and snow removal service Painting Pest Management Playground Installation, inspection, and maintenance Plumbing Roofing and siding Signs and scoreboards Structural repairs Tree services Waste disposal and recycling Window replacement / glazing The Purchaser may amend any timeline, including the Submission Deadline, without liability, cost, or penalty, and within its sole discretion.
