Emergency Tree Trimming, Tree Removal and Stump Grinding Services The City of Deltona is seeking an experienced company who is registered with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and registered with the County of Volusia, Florida as outlined within this specification to provide As Needed Emergency Tree Trimming, Tree Removal and Stump Grinding Services for the City of Deltona. Services are to be provided on as needed basis for a three years with the option to renew for three additional one year periods. This bid is for on call emergency services only. The City's regular tree service bid will be put out to bid in the near future as the current one expires on September 30, 2024. A twenty four (24) hour response time on emergency callout is required, seven days a week. AWARD: As the best interest of the City may require, the right is reserved to make award(s) by individual item, group of items, "All or None", or a combination thereof; with one or more suppliers; to reject any or all bids, or waive any minor irregularity or technicality in bids received, award or eliminate an portion of the bid, and may, at it's sole discretion, request a re-bid, or abandon the project in it's entirety. Bidders are cautioned to make no assumption until the City has entered into a contract or issued a purchase order. ACCEPTANCE / REJECTION: The City of Deltona reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to make the award to that Bidder, who in the opinion of the City will be in the best interest of and/or the most advantageous to the City. The City of Deltona also reserves the right to reject the bid of any vendor who has previously failed in the proper performance of an award or to deliver on time contracts of a similar nature or who, in the City's opinion, is not in a position to perform properly under this award. The City of Deltona reserves the right to inspect all facilities of bidders in order to make a determination as to the foregoing. The City of Deltona reserves the right to waive any irregularities, informalities, and technicalities in offers received, and may, at its discretion, request a re-bid, or abandon the project/procurement in its entirety.
