Site work and paving for a road / highway in Barrett Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Paving Bid 2024 - Barrett Township Milling (paving notches and at driveways), tack coating, paving and sealing of joints are included in the price. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal security in the amount of 10% of the amount bid in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond naming Barrett Township as payee. No bid or proposal may be withdrawn before May 1, 2024. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the amount of the bid, naming Barrett Township as payee. The Board of Supervisors will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder or may reject all bids within 30 days of the date of the bid opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any defects or irregularities in the proposals. The Board further reserves the right to reject any proposal deemed not to be in the best interest of Barrett Township.
