Bids cannot be accepted from unregistered contractors except as provided in Section 1771.1. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. After award of the contract, Contractor and each Subcontractor shall furnish electronic payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner in the manner specified in Labor Code Section 1771.4. . A ten percent (10%) bid security by certified or cashier's check from a responsible bank, cash or an original bidder's bond issued and executed by an admitted surety insurer authorized to transact surety insurance in California, made payable to the order of the County of Orange in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract if it is awarded to the bidder.
