Highfield Park Drive, Victoria Rd., Farrell St. Recap and Dartmouth North AAA Bikeway. Scope of work includes: 1) Full depth recapitalization, curb renewal and addition of bike path on Farrell St. from Victoria Rd. to Windmill Rd. 2) Provisional sidewalk replacement on Farrell if deemed required. 3) Bike path extending perpendicularly from Farrell St. to Wyse Rd. 4) Half Signal, crossings, and associated intersection changes to Farrell/Victoria intersection. Includes required changes to bus stops. 4) Bike path addition to Victoria Rd. 5) Changes to intersection at Victoria/Highfield Park accommodating bike path. 6) Full depth rehabilitation, curb renewal and addition of tactical bike path on Highfield Park Dr. to existing multi-use path. TIMELINE: Request for proposals for detailed design services has been awarded. Phase 1, construction of the Farrell Park Path & Highfield Drive is scheduled for the 2025 construction season. Phase 2, construction of the Victoria Rd. is scheduled for the 2026 construction season. Further update fall/winter 2024. *Budget is unreleased.
