As of July 10,2024 The contract was awarded to the low bidder, Seawood Services for $143,523.70 but cannot update the roles tab unable to locate the project The project includes all materials, labor and workmanship to construct and deliver (5) floats for the Town of Bar Harbor for the Town Landing. The work is divided into 5 floats, each 8x24 with minor variances to each based on their location. The floats contain a dingy tie rail on the inboard side. Chain rigging and moorings for the floats will be provided by others and are not part of the bid. All bolts and threaded rod shall be galvanized. The design includes all pressure treated lumber of 2.5 CCA for frame and to the waterline. Splash zone rated PT above for decking and face boards, 0.60 CCA UC4B or greater. The project includes the description contained here in and all work required to provide products as detailed on the plans provided as part of this invitation. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Town and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashiers check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the same amount payable to Town of Bar Harbor. Question Deadline 04/26/2024 The successful Bidder must furnish within 30 calendar days after the Notice of Award the required number of copies of the signed Agreement, The Town of Bar Harbor reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies. The owner reserves the right if by the owners to accept or reject any bid, if it is determined the bid is not qualified or responsive in accordance with contract documents. The Town of Bar Harbor shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in accordance with the Town of Bar Harbor purchasing policy.
