Project Description: This project includes the asphalt resurfacing of the City's North Buckeye Street and South Buckeye Street Parking Lots, including all pavement markings. The total area of both parking lots to be resurfaced is approximately 6,180 square yards. Project Cost: The Engineer's estimated construction cost for this project is $140,000 Project Completion Date: September 20, 2024. For the North and South Buckeye Street Parking Lot Resurfacing in accordance with the specifications on file in said office. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and be accompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide a contract bond for 100% of the bid amount. Question Deadline 04/09/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Questions pertaining to the project shall be submitted no later than five (5) working days prior to the date specified in the legal notice for the bid opening. This time is provided to adequately prepare a response and not influence the bid date. The City of Wooster, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids; to waive minor irregularities in the bid and to award the contract or contracts to the lowest and best bidder which the City deems will best serve the City. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wayne County and the City of Wooster, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
