Norfolk Public Schools (NPS) is a large urban school division in the Norfolk Public School district. The division enrolls a racially and economically diverse population of approximately 30,000 total students supported by a staff of more than 4,600 employees in 52 facilities. The educational philosophy of the division is based on the belief that all children can achieve at high levels and that it is the responsibility of the staff and community to ensure that each child reaches his or her highest potential The resulting contract shall be from the date of execution through April 30, 2025 with five (5) one (1) year renewal options. Question Deadline 04/16/2024 at 10:00 AM ET All questions must be submitted in writing, via email to: hmedina2@nps.k12.va.us. If the answer materially affects the IFB, the information will be incorporated into an addendum and posted on Electronically The purchasing agency reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon 60 days written notice to the contractor. In the event the initial contract period is for more than 12 months, the resulting contract may also be terminated by the contractor, without penalty, after the initial 12 months of the contract period upon 60 days written notice to the other party. Any contract cancellation notice shall not relieve the contractor of the obligation to deliver and/or perform on all outstanding orders issued prior to the effective date of cancellation
