Site work for a water / sewer project in Arlington, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Any questions related to the proposal shall be submitted by email to Dylan Rumble, P.E., Civil Engineer at dylan.rumble@arlingtontx.gov no later than 12:00 P.M., April 12, 2024. The City of Arlington requires engineering services to complete detailed design and construction-phase services for the Waterway Lift Station Rehabilitation Project. The scope of work includes the following: 1. Design Phase Services: Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and final design drawings and specifications for the rehabilitation of the Waterway Lift Station. Design services may include, but are not limited to: a. Topographic survey and subsurface utility engineering, b. Geotechnical investigation, c. Site civil design including paving, utilities, and site security improvements, d. Other major support disciplines required to complete the project including, but not limited to structural, electrical, and instrumentation and controls design. 2. Construction Phase Services: a. Engineering services during construction, such as: review of submittals, RFIs and shop drawings, b. Provide general support to the City for administration and management of the construction contract, c. Provide qualified staff to assist with start-up and commissioning of the lift station. 3. Other project information: a. The existing Waterway Lift Station is located at 3119 Westwood Drive and must be fully rehabilitated due to deteriorating conditions. b. The pumping capacity of the existing lift station is 0.16 MGD. c. The estimated Average Dry Weather discharge for the area is 0.03 MGD. d. The estimated Peak Wet Weather discharge for the area is 0.08 MGD. e. This lift station serves 115 single-family accounts and five (5) commercial accounts. f. The City has determined that a quick connect for backup power is necessary at this site. g. The City prefers a permanent concrete wet-well type lift station design, however, is open to a packaged solution if proven more feasible during design. The project scope described above is intended to be general and a detailed scope will be created during contract negotiations with th No site visits will be conducted. The sites is accessible for public viewing and observation.
