Site work and paving for a road / highway in Thorburn, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Highway 104 Taylor Road to Paqtnkek Twinning Project. Project is divided into three (3) sections and construction will be carried out in four (4) phases. Phase 2: Transition at the west end. The existing transition from the 4 lane to 2 lane transitions to what will be the future westbound lanes. Phase 3: Once Phase 2 construction is completed traffic will be shifted from the current path to the future Eastbound lanes between the west end transition and the interchange, and to the future Trunk 4 between the interchange and Exit 36A and to the future westbound lanes between the Exit 36A and the east end. Phase 4: Once Phase 3 construction is completed traffic will be on the four lanes from the east end to the west end. TIMELINE: As per Highway Plan 2025-2026, construction is underway. Further details have not been released for publication.
