Lammersville Unified School District desires to contract with one or more vendor(s), operating in the educational market segment, to remodel the kitchen at Lammersville Elementary School. Through this Request for Proposal, Lammersville Unified School District invites proposals to provide turnkey services for construction services and related products, as defined herein. The Lammersville Unified School District (The District) desires to contract with one or more Proposer(s) and/or Vendor(s), operating in the educational market segment, who demonstrate the capability to provide turnkey services for the remodel of the kitchen and related products for Lammersville Elementary School Project. The Lammersville Elementary Kitchen Remodel Project is designed to be inclusive of, but not limited to, kitchen remodel construction including new equipment and related products at Lammersville Elementary School and additional work for existing school site as needed. The District reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to change any or all portions of the above-identified timeline as it determines to be in its best interest. the District staff will not communicate with any Proposer regarding this RFP once distributed. Questions must be submitted via email addressed to: Jimmy LeGrande Director MOT LAMMERSVILLE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT 111 S De Anza Blvd., Mountain House, CA 95391 jlegrande@lammersvilleusd.net The District reserves the following rights: - to accept or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part; to reject all proposals; - to waive any formalities or irregularities contained in a proposal that does not comply with the terms and conditions of this RFP, - to make modifications to this RFP, or specification through addenda; - to conduct interviews with any of the proposers and to require a formal presentation by any of the proposers; - to waive any irregularities and technicalities and may, at its sole discretion, request a re-submittal or other information to evaluate any or all proposals; - to modify or waive the conditions and requirements of this RFP where it determines that such modification is in its best interest; - to require proposer(s) to submit evidence of qualifications or any other information the District may deem necessary. - to at their sole discretion, purchase select items directly from a manufacturer; and - to select the proposal and/or specific items that in the sole discretion of the District are in their best interest whether or not the proposal selected is the lowest monetary proposal. 1. Demolition and removal of the existing kitchen equipment as required. 2. Removal and patch back of building slab on grade in the kitchen. 3. Installation of new epoxy flooring at concrete patch back. Epoxy flooring to match as best as possible to existing adjacent flooring. 4. Patching of the existing ceiling at area where new kitchen hood is installed. New ceiling to match as best as possible to adjacent ceiling. 5. Painting of interior walls, ceilings, doors and frames. 6. Furnishing and installing all new kitchen equipment and counters per the revised equipment schedule issued in addendum 1. 7. Installation of the following plumbing systems in the kitchen area: a. 1 new floor drain and trap primer b. Modifications for new fixtures, floor drains, three compartment sink, hand sink and trap primer c. All gas piping d. Excavation and backfill as needed e. Plumbing for the new warming station counter to include waste and vent piping for a new floor sink, an indirect line, and gas piping to the warming station 8. Installation of the following HVAC systems: a. 2 new exhaust fan and associated ductwork b. Testing and balancing c. Removal of existing exhaust fans d. Patching of roofing and framing required for new exhaust fans e. 1 new DOAS roof mounted exhaust system and associated structural upgrades 9. Installation of electrical power and control conduit for two exhaust fans. 10. Installation of electrical work at the new warming station counter equipment. To include wiring from the existing panel to warming station, new 20A GFCI receptacle and 20A single pole breaker in existing panel.
