Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Imlay City, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Imlay City is requesting sealed bids for Parking Lot Pavement Improvements. The project area is approximately 4,785 sq ft. The parking lot is located adjacent to a public alley east of N. Almont Ave., and west of Bancroft St. South of E. Fourth St., and north of E. Third St. The parking lot is located behind 148 N. Almont Ave. The contractor shall coordinate parking lot closures with the City/Businesses. Potential alley closures shall be approved by the City. The Contractor shall provide traffic control and devices. Bids shall not include yard restoration or pavement markings. The contractor shall include a lump sum for Bid #1 and Bid #2. Bid #1 - Remove existing asphalt. - Compact existing base material (Contractor shall advise City of any base material issues or concerns) - Furnish and install 1.5 inches of 13A asphalt. - Apply SS1H bond coat. - Furnish and install additional 1.5 inches of 13A asphalt. Bid #2 - Cold mill existing asphalt 1.5 inches and dispose of waste material. - Clean milled surface - Apply SS1H bond coat to milled asphalt surface. - Furnish and install 1.5 inches of 13A asphalt.
