2024 Concrete Program NO PRE-BID MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR THIS PROJECT. Prospective bidders may contact the City of Des Plaines Public Works and Engineering Department at 1420 Miner Street, Des Plaines, 847-391-5390 or engineering@desplaines.org with any questions regarding the scope of the improvements and the project specifications. Owner invites sealed Bidder's Proposals for the Work described in detail in the Contract and generally described as follows: The scope of work includes removal and replacement of sidewalk, curb and gutter, driveway aprons, construction of new sidewalk, alley reconstruction using pervious brick pavers, alley repairs in pervious concrete, landscape restoration with seeding and other miscellaneous items at various locations in Des Plaines. The Work shall be performed at the following Work Site: Sidewalk and curb replacement will be done at various locations within the City of Des Plaines. New ADA sidewalk ramp and handicap parking will be constructed in front of 1488 E. Northwest Hwy, sidewalk, and curb ramp installation on Douglas Av (Howard-Jarlath) as well as sidewalk improvements to be constructed in front of 632 W. Algonquin Rd
