Flood Control, Mississippi River and Tributaries, Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity Contract, 2024 Stone Placement, Mississippi, Atchafalaya, and Red Rivers, and Old River Control Channels (ED 24-004). NOTE: THIS IS A SYNOPSIS, NOT A SOLICITATION. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; THEREFORE, NO QUESTIONS OF A TECHNICAL OR CONTRACTUAL NATURE WILL BE ACCEPTED OR ANSWERED. INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Project Labor Agreements (PLA) are required on construction projects with a value of $35,000,000 or more; however, for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts, PLAs are only requested at the task order level, should a task order be awarded in an amount that exceeds the $35,000,000 threshold. Description of Work: The work consists of various types of stone placement along the banks of the Mississippi River (Miles 325.8 to 0.0 AHP), Atchafalaya River (Miles 0.0 to 137.0), Red River (Miles 6.0 to 11.0), and Old River Control Channels. (The estimated time of completion not to exceed 730 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The solicitation will include 11 drawings and specifications). The estimated magnitude of construction for this work is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. All qualified business concerns may submit bids. Please note, bids received from large business firms must comply with FAR 19.7 and FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan.
