Work is to be completed throughout City of Holladay on residential and residential-collector roads. Bids shall consist of a unit price bid for each item in the table below. Bids shall include all costs for labor, equipment, materials, and tipping fees to construct to the work to APWA standards, MUTCD traffic control standards, and other associated work items. Bids shall include cost for saw cutting and removing up to 2 feet of asphalt to place forms and make transitions to edges as needed. Bids shall not include costs for asphalt replacement, which will be completed by others and is not a part of this project. Contractor is to coordinate with a material testing company selected by the city. Material testing fees will be paid for by the city. Any repeat of testing will be at the contractors expense and will not be paid by the city Road base is to be removed and replaced as directed or as approved by the inspector based on contractor recommendations. The successful contractor will be required to provide a $10,000 Performance and Payment bond. Contractor will be required to obtain a no fee Right-of-Way Occupancy Permit from the City of Holladay. The successful contractor will be required to enter into an agreement using the EJCDC Contract for Construction of a Small Project template. Industry minimum insurance is required with the City of Holladay named as additional insured. The City of Holladay reserves the right: to reject any and all Bids; to waive minor informalities in the Bid Schedule and elsewhere so long as the informalities do not affect the Contract Documents or render the bid non-compliant with Laws and Regulation pertaining to bidding requirements; to negotiate and agree to contract terms with the successful Bidder; and to disregard non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids.
