Site work for a water / sewer project in Sunrise, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project proposes to design and construct drainage improvements along NW 50th Street between North Pine Island Road and NW 94th Avenue and a parallel storm water outfall pipe in the southbound lanes of NW 94th Avenue between NW 50th Street and the outfall south of NW 48th Street. The new pipe along NW 94th Avenue will be interconnected with the existing 36" RCP outfall system at the intersection of NW 50th Street and then extend to the existing Basin 11 lake south of NW 48th Street where it would connect to the existing 36" outfall. Portions of the drainage system on NW 50th Street will need to be reconstructed to allow for a flow direction reversal and the pipe sizes increased to accommodate the flow from the Sub-Basin 11- F North system to the new outfall. The project is include in the city's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
