Project 306 Distribution Line The Project will consist of furnishing labor, material, and equipment for the construction of approximately 6 miles of 12.47 KV, three-phase, overhead distribution line. The Owner will supply the poles, primary overhead conductor, transformers, breakers, and metering equipment. Construction is to commence on or before September 9, 2024 and be complete by December 20, 2024. The project is located in Polk County approximately 7 miles south of the town of Silver Creek, Nebraska. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in form attached or a certified check of a bank that is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the order of the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond with sureties listed by the United States Treasury Department as Acceptable Sureties, in a penal sum not less than the total contract price. The Owner will award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest and best proposal or, at its sole discretion, may reject any or all proposals.
