The work on this project must be guaranteed for one (1) year from the date of final completion and inspection. The guarantee period will have a value of five percent (5%) of the total project cost. This five percent (5%) retainage will be returned to the Project Locations: Jackson Taylor Park 10th & Washington Street Jamestown, NY 14701 Scope of Work: 1. Contractor shall complete all the necessary work to provide a complete and functional system for both potable water and sanitary sewer drainage. 2. Furnish and install new SDR-9 CTS waterline and solid stranded tracer wire from existing meter pit into the building and from the building to 10' from the edge of the splash pad. This shall include core drilling through the existing floor and sleeving up 6" conduit from outside of the existing concrete walkway up through the floor. Provide a watertight seal at the floor. 3. Furnish and install (2) curb box, curb stop and extension rod after the TEE which will replace the existing water meter pit. 4. Furnish and install the necessary parts to connect to the two (2) existing 1" copper waterlines that feed the existing drinking fountains on site. 5. Furnish and install all the necessary plumbing material, supports, connectors, devices and all other items as indicated on sheets P-100 "Plumbing Site Plan" & P-101 "Plumbing Details". 6. Contractor shall connect to the existing waterline inside of the building to service the existing bathroom. Existing "flammable" cabinet will be relocated by others. 7. Contractor shall provide a watertight seal at each manhole connection by using hydraulic cement. 8. Contractor shall furnish and install 4" clean check extendable backwater valve inside of new manhole. Manhole to be installed by Jamestown DPW. Provide watertight seal at each end 9. Water service shall be pressure tested in accordance with section 312.5 "water Supply System Test" of the most recent NYS Plumbing Code requirements. 10. Sanitary sewer shall be pressure tested in accordance with the City of Jamestown BPUs requirements. 11. Contractor must be licensed in the City of Jamestown and completed under a Licensed Master Plumber within the City of Jamestown. 12. All work shall be performed in accordance with the most recent City of Jamestown BPU waterline & sanitary sewer requirements. For items that are not included within the BPUs requirements, shall be completed in accordance with the most recent NYS Sanitary Code and NYS Plumbing Co
