Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Easton, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Engineering Department will be accepting bids for the Concrete Reconstruction. There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting or Bid Opening General Instructions: This invitation for bids is for the following: Demolition and Removal Remove existing sidewalk, ramps, curb and gutter as indicated on attached exhibits (1-6). Sawcut and remove pavement to facilitate the front form of the gutter pan. Cut not to exceed 12 from existing concrete. Concrete from the demolition can be taken to the Talbot County Repurposing Center (28128 St. Michaels Road). Contractor responsible for Dump Fees. Subgrade Preparation Excavate as required to provide for a minimum of 3 compacted #57 stone under all areas of new concrete. A cut-sheet for the flow line elevation will be provided off of nails set 3 from the face of the curb. Concrete Placement and Finishing Install new sidewalks, ADA compliant ramps, valley gutter, curb and gutter as shown on Exhibits 1-6. Price of work should include the purchase of all materials and supplies to perform the work outlined in this document and shown on exhibits. Price of work should include the setting of all required forms, setting of expansion joints, placement of concrete, finishing of concrete, setting truncated domes, and application of concrete sealer. Once the front form is removed, place concrete in front of the gutter pan, to an elevation 2 below the top of the gutter pan. Install CR8 between the new gutter pan and existing asphalt to provide smooth transition from new sidewalk apron to existing asphalt.
