The work is estimated to cost $ 75,138. As of May 1, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. A. The Work of the Contract consists of 1. Repairing damaged surfaces. 2. New kitchen cabinets, appliances, and fixtures. 3. New bathroom fixtures and finishes. 4. New closet doors and shelving. 5. New flooring and baseboards throughout. 6. New lighting and receptacles in existing locations. 7. Replacement of the interior and exterior components of the air-source heat pump. 8. Refinishing of existing doors. 9. Painting of walls, ceilings, and trim. 10. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 11. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. 12. Other components of the project as described in the drawings and specifications. B. Execution of Work: Work to be performed in timely and workmanlike fashion. Site must be cleaned up daily with access needed for overnight. C. Warranties/Guaranties: Refer to specification sections. A complete renovation of (1) one-bedroom unit including kitchen, bathroom, and flooring. No changes will be made to existing walls or fixture locations. The Topsfield Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites written quotes from Contractors for the Elderly, Little Brook Village Development for the Topsfield Housing Authority in Topsfield Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Tricia Kendall, Architecture + Design. The work is estimated to cost $49,615 Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A (2)(B) & to state prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive.
