Williamson County is seeking qualified contractors for the construction of eastbound frontage road consisting of grading, flex base, asphalt pavement, shared use path, bridge structures, retaining wall, culverts, storm sewer, detention ponds, and signing and pavement markings. Questions Due Date: Jul 10th 2024, 10:00 AM CDT Estimated time of completion is 1238 calendar days to substantial completion, and 1268 calendar days to final completion, with an estimated cost of $68,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: $4265 Per Day All bids shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check upon a National or State bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to Williamson County, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds, as stipulated by item 25 above, within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. Bid guarantees must be submitted in the same sealed envelope with the bid. Bids submitted without check or bid bonds will not be considered. The receipt of electronic responses will be registered in Bonfire.
