The work of constructing the Two (2) Test Wells will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below. Principal Work: 1. Drill two (2) Test Wells 2. Two (2) 48 hour Pump Test. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 120 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages.
