Proposals Will Be Accepted on Road Commission Form Only and Are to Be in a Sealed Envelope Plainly Marked "storage Building 6" Concrete Floor" Bids will be publicly opened, read and available for review at the time specified. Following the bid opening the bids are reviewed by various staff members in order to make a recommendation to the County Board of Road Commissioners at its next regular meeting. During this time period the bids are closed and information regarding the bids is not available. Bids will be awarded at the next regularly scheduled Board Meeting of the Board of County Road Commissioners following the due date for receipt of bids. Notification of the bid award will be mailed to each bidder on the next business day following the Board Meeting. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of same, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in bids and to make the award in whole or in part as may appear to be in the best interests of the Lenawee County Road Commission. Permits: The contractor will obtain and include in the bid Subgrade Excavation: Shall be done by the contractor. Excavated material shall remain on site and stacked outside the building at a location to be determined by LCRC. Limestone Base Material: 6" Limestone to be placed and compacted by contractor. LCRC will provide the limestone material required. Poured Concrete: 100' x 50' - 6" poured concrete floor with #4 or higher rebar over a 10 mil or thicker vapor barrier. Concrete shall have Intra Seal included in the cost Clean up: All construction debris to be removed from site by contractor. Prior work: Bid to include information on 3 previous projects Upon completion of review of this request, the successful bidder will be expected to furnish: A. 100% Performance Bond B.
