Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fairfield, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
o The location of Project: Cold Springs Road (T-307), Approximately 3300' from High Rock Road to Three Springs Road, (Dirt Roads owned by DCNR) by 20' in width. o Description of work: Contractor to place a scratch/ leveling course of WMA 9.5 mm variable depth, 0 to 0.3 ESAL. Place 12.5 mm wearing course, 2" depth. 0 to 0.3 ESAL, SRL"M". Material will be purchased by municipality. Contractor will be responsible for the scheduling of material with asphalt plant, hauling of the material and for the signage for the project. Township will provide flagger only. Materials to be procured locally and projects must be completed by August 16, 2024. After August 16, 2024 Liquidated Damages apply at a rate of S870 per calendar day. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid must be submitted with any bid proposal. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bid proposals or part thereof and to award the contract as is determined to serve the best interest of the Township. Prevailing wages apply.
